Free optimization of problematic tools!

The Danish company Michael Lundbech A/S is one of the partners in the Swiss/Danish project Super-Moulds. The project consortium is looking for cases with problematic injection moulding tools.

If your company has tools where demoulding is an issue, for example due to adhesion between plastics and mould surface, then your tool might be considered as a case tool in the project in order to remedy the problems.

Who can submit their cases and why should you do it?

Your company can test the effect of surface coating and texturing on a tool that is experiencing demoulding issues. The texture is done by AgieCharmilles, the coating of the Tribology Center at the Danish Technological Institute. The composition of the coating is adapted to plastic type and workpiece geometry.

Super-Moulds pays all costs for the processes, provided that the results can be used in the project’s research. Participating companies will also be invited to the project optimization seminar on the 21st of January 2020 and will have the opportunity to discuss moulding issues with the project’s experts.
